What to Expect At Your First Appointment
Your first appointment with Lakeside Dental Spa will take a bit longer than subsequent check-ups. This is because we will need to know a bit about you, including your medical history and any medications currently used because this could affect any dental treatment required.

 

A Complete Dental Examination and Oral Cancer Screening

We will carry out a complete examination during your first appointment which will include a screening for oral cancer and a set of dental x-rays. If you have had dental x-rays quite recently then it is worth bringing these with you or having them emailed to our practice before your appointment. This information enables us to fully evaluate your current dental health so we may recommend the most suitable treatment plan. Once we have completed our examination, we will ll discuss your dental health with you, including any treatments if required.
